Ryan M. Vogel, CFP® - Managing Partner
Ryan is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, Senior Wealth Advisor, and partner at Private Wealth Management Group. After graduating from Muhlenberg College, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and a minor in History, Ryan chose to work for The Vanguard Group at their headquarters in Malvern, PA. During Ryan’s tenure at Vanguard, he served in several different client facing roles including investment education and High Net Worth client services. Ryan joined Private Wealth Management Group in 2006. In addition to developing financial plans and communicating with his clients, Ryan leads the firm’s investment committee and is also responsible for overseeing performance reporting and trading operations.
Having spent over ten years in the financial services industry, Ryan brings knowledge and experience in his approach to financial planning. During his time at Vanguard, Ryan discovered that the majority of individuals and families do not have a firm understanding of how to properly manage an investment portfolio. While Ryan valued his time at Vanguard, he was looking for the opportunity to develop more personal and long term relationships with clients. Ryan knows that money has the potential to tear apart relationships (families, marriages, friendships, etc.) He finds it tremendously rewarding to be able to relieve families of the burden associated with properly managing their finances. This allows people to enjoy their lives.
Growing up playing games and puzzles with his family, Ryan enjoys thinking through problems and seeing how different pieces fit together. As a person with a calm and even keeled personality, he is good at listening to people and providing thoughtful responses to their questions. Ryan feels that sound financial planning and financial management can truly make a difference in people’s lives and in the lives of their families.
Outside of the office, Ryan enjoys golfing and volunteering his time as President of the board of Trinity Counseling Service, a local non-profit which provides mental health care services. Ryan lives in Newtown, PA with his wife Meaghan, their two sons Reid and Reece, and his basset hound Luna.
